      Who is eligible to register for a Paytend Account?

      Anyone who is between the ages of 18 -70  can open a Paytend account.

      The only other conditions for opening a Paytend account are as follows:

      • You can’t have more than one Paytend Personal Account.
      • You can’t open a new Paytend account if we have closed your previous account.
      • You have to be a resident of a country where our services are offered. 
      • You have to hold a supported ID (Passport/ID/Both).
      • You have to have a smartphone. 

      This is how the sign-up process for a Paytend bank account works:

      1. Verify your telephone number (OTP).
      2. Set up a password that will be used to log into your account.
      3. Select the type of account you need (personal or business).
      4. Enter your residential address. 
      5. Verify your email address (OTP). 
      6. Complete Identity Verification. 
      7. Complete Questionnaire.

      Once you have completed the registration process our team will review your details within 1 working day. Once finalized, the status of your account will be updated within the app.
