      Can I open a business account outside EEA?

      Yes, you can register for a Paytend business account, however, for non-EEA companies, we require additional documentation and a fee of €998 for the upgrade process.

      An EEA company is defined as follows:

      1. The company is registered in the EEA.
      2. The legal person's nationality is from the EEA or they are a resident in the EEA. This requires supporting documentation such as a residence permit, utility bills (water, gas, electricity, phone), bank statements, rental agreements, etc.
