The number of free cash withdrawals available with your Paytend Mastercard depends on the country linked to your account (the country where your first card was initially shipped). To avoid fees, particularly when traveling, use the [Mastercard ATM Locator](https://sea.mastercard.com/en-region-sea/personal/get-support/find-nearest-atm.html) or [Union Pay International ATM Locator](https://www.unionpayintl.com/cardholderServ/serviceCenter/atm?language=en) and select 'no access fee' to find ATMs without charges. If you were charged an ATM fee, here’s why it may have happened: - **Standard Withdrawal Fee**: A 2% fee (minimum €3) applies to each withdrawal. This appears as a separate entry in your transaction history. - **ATM Operator Fees**: Some ATMs may charge their own fees, which are added to the withdrawal amount in the same transaction. These fees are determined by the ATM provider, not Paytend, and cannot be reversed. You’ll be notified of any additional fees before the transaction is completed, giving you the option to cancel the withdrawal. - **Foreign Currency Withdrawals**: Using a Paytend UPI debit card for withdrawals in foreign currency incurs a €3 fee per transaction.
