# Lost Your Device

## If your paired smartphone is lost or stolen, don’t worry! Your Paytend account remains protected.

The app can only be accessed using your **login password** or **biometric authentication** (such as fingerprint or face recognition). Without this, no one can access your account from the lost device.

---

You can log in to your account on a **new device** using the **original login details** you used when creating your account.

Once logged in, you’ll be asked to complete a **facial verification check** to confirm your identity and secure your account.

✅ **We also recommend changing your password** as an added layer of protection, especially if there’s any chance someone else could know or guess your old one.
